10 a.m. Join Carrie Weber of Rishi Tea for a tea talk & tasting! Discussing tea origins,
tea-type differences, caffeine vs. caffeine-free, brewing techniques, more. Free tastings.
11 a.m. Dr. Nino Ridgway, owner of Herbs and Everlastings, will speak on
‘the Umbrella Herbs - Easy and Hard to Grow’, addressing Dill, Parsley, Cilantro, Chervil,
Celery & More.
1 p.m. Karin Pauc, a long time member of the Lakeside Knitter's Guild and Village
Spinners will give a demonstration/talk on 'Herbs to use for Dyeing'.
2 p.m. Cook with Herbs, LLC owners, Colleen Bell and Natascha Buter, will have
a hands-o n presentation using Culinary Herbs. They specialize
in growing and using exotic herbs.
3 p.m. ‘Winged Wonders: Small Pollinators in our Gardens’ with Pat Greathead, M.G.
A beautiful slide show highlights where & what to have in a garden for Butterflies and Bees.
